About
Water wisteria is a fast-growing Southeast Asian stem plant known for its lacy, deeply cut leaves that vary with light and nutrient levels. It grows quickly enough to help suppress algae and can be planted in substrate or left floating, where it develops finer foliage. Undemanding and forgiving, it is a favourite background and midground plant for planted community tanks.
Care
Plant stems in substrate or float them, supply moderate light and column ferts, and trim tops to encourage bushy growth. Fast grower needing regular pruning.
Diet
Primarily a water-column feeder responsive to nitrate, phosphate and iron dosing; enriched substrate boosts its rapid growth.
